私は、ご本尊の勧請をいただき40年余り経過してます。
It has been over 40 years since I received the invitation to enshrine the Gohonzon.

その間に、青年幹部教育で2年余り法華経の研鑽をさせていただき、その後は明るい社会づくり運動の全国拓塾で7年程庭野日敬氏の思いや願いを学ばせていただきました。その間に学ばせていただきました事が、現在の私の根幹になっていると思います。その後、様々な活動に関わらせていただき法華経の研鑽を現在でも些少ながら重ねている一信者です。
During that time, I studied the Lotus Sutra for over two years in the youth executive training program, and then I studied the thoughts and wishes of Nikkyo Niwano for about seven years at the National Takujuku School of the Bright Society Movement. I believe that what I learned during that time is the foundation of who I am today. Since then, I have been involved in various activities and am still studying the Lotus Sutra, albeit in a small way, as a believer.

振り返れば、15年程前に明るい社会づくり運動の衰退劇が始まった当初、多くの仲間たちが黙って離れて行く後ろ姿を見ながら「苦虫を食い潰したような」思いをしたことを、昨日のことのように思い出します。しかし、その当時はこの衰退劇は本体の立正佼成会までには及ばない事と受け止めていました。
Looking back, I remember as if it were yesterday how I felt bitter about the beginning of the decline of the Bright Society Movement about 15 years ago, as I watched many of my comrades silently walk away. However, at the time, I understood that this decline did not affect the Rissho Kosei-kai itself.

その後の立正佼成会さんは,　　After that, Rissho Kosei-kai
しかし、その後の推移を見守っていますと、庭野日敬師の亡き後、立正佼成会さんの衰退は目に余る現実が多く一信者としても心を痛め、とても残念に思う日々です。
However, as I have continued to watch the developments since then, I have seen the glaring decline of Rissho Kosei-kai since the passing of Reverend Niwano Nikkyo, which has caused me great sadness and disappointment as a believer.

例えば、for example,

・法華経教団と言いつつ法華経をきちんと解ける幹部がいない（少ない）
・Even though they call themselves a Lotus Sutra sect, there are no (few) leaders who can properly explain the Lotus Sutra.

　　例₋法華経が解けない、理解できない、あてがいぶちの幹部の増加
　　Example: An increase in cadres who are unable to understand or understand the Lotus Sutra and are left in the dark

・立正佼成会の要と言われている法座主をできる人材が育っていない
・There are not enough people capable of serving as head priests, which is said to be the core of Rissho Kosei-kai.

　　例₋法座修業が出来ていないので世間の常識を結びとする
　　Example 1: Because one has not been able to practice Dharma, one is bound by common sense

・その為に多くの信者が離れて行き財政難で財産の切り売りが始まる
・As a result, many followers left the church, and the church began to sell off its assets due to financial difficulties.

　　例-佼成病院の身売り・研修施設切り売り・手持ち不動産の売却
　　Example: Selling Kosei Hospital, selling training facilities, selling real estate holdings

・教団職員はいつリストラに会うか戦々恐々の日々と聞き及ぶ
・I hear that the cult's staff live in fear of being laid off at any time.

　　例₋上席からの指示には逆らえない・反論出来ない・言われたまま
　　Example: I can't go against instructions from my superiors, I can't argue, I just do as I'm told

・立正佼成会は庭野家の個人的所有物では・・・・・・・、 etc　　
・Rissho Kosei-kai is not the personal property of the Niwano family...

　　例₋規約上、会長の権限が大きすぎるので改革が進まない
　　Example 1: The chairman has too much authority under the rules, so reforms are not progressing.

只々静観あるのみ　　Just observe and wait.
そんな現実を、心ある同心の信者さんたちに話しても様々な苦言・苦情は多々聞きますが、実際は只々静観あるのみ（御身大切）の方が多いように受け止めています。
Even when I talk about this reality to well-meaning believers, I hear a lot of criticism and complaints, but in reality, it seems that most people simply wait and see (take care of yourself).

私にとって大恩がある、立正佼成会の創立者である庭野日敬氏の思いや願いを踏みにじるような行為は許しがたく、かと言ってその事に何も出来ない自分をも歯がゆく思う日々です。
I cannot forgive acts that trample on the thoughts and wishes of Niwano Nikkyo, the founder of Rissho Kosei-kai, to whom I owe a great debt, and yet I am frustrated with myself for not being able to do anything about it.

只、言える事は、現状を繰り返す事は立正佼成会の衰退を招く事となると思いますので、ある種自殺行為とも受け止めています。
However, what I can say is that repeating the current situation will lead to the decline of Rissho Kosei-kai, so I also see it as a kind of suicidal act.

現体制を大幅に見直しすべき　The current system needs to be significantly revised.
私は、立正佼成会の創立者である庭野日敬氏の思いや願い（立正佼成会の原点）を再確認して、現体制を大幅に見直して新たなスタートに舵を切るときだと受け止めています。
I believe that now is the time to reaffirm the thoughts and wishes of Rissho Kosei-kai's founder, Niwano Nikkyo (the origins of Rissho Kosei-kai), and to drastically review the current system and make a new start.
